Notebook, 1822-1823.

Notebook in which members of the Christian Israelite sect recorded the prophecies and parables of their founder, John Wroe (sometimes latinized as Johannes Rose). Most entries were recorded during Wroe's travels in the North of England and Gibralter during which time he claimed succession to George Turner's leadership of the Southcottian societies. The last pages of the volume contain tenets of the sect entitled "The Laws of God for His Children."
